A classic Magic Kingdom attraction is getting a major update, and Disney gave fans their first look at the changes during D23 this week.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress will retain its familiar rotating theater, beloved characters and iconic “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” theme, while receiving updated scenes that bring the attraction’s story into a more modern era.

Among the first details revealed are new costumes, updated set designs and a new version of the family dog, Rover. Disney also showcased concept art giving fans a glimpse at how the attraction will evolve while maintaining the spirit of Walt Disney’s original creation.

The update is intended to continue the attraction’s central message of progress and technological change while giving the classic show a refreshed look and story for a new generation.
